Before founding American Manner, I attended business school and earned a law degree. I then worked on Capitol Hill, within prominent global financial institutions, and at transactional law firms.  Through these experiences, I gained insight into achieving success with authenticity and mindfulness.

My passion for the art of elegant communication started in childhood through diverse hobbies like reading, writing, competitive public speaking, golf, and equestrianism; this passion grew as an adult through my love for entertaining, thoughtful communication, volunteerism, and professional achievement. While all these interests lend to effective communication and etiquette, they also rely on gratitude and attention to detail. Although originally from Pennsylvania,

 

I am fortunate to have traveled to and lived in many wonderful places; I am settled in East Tennessee where I continue to cherish my Appalachia roots while celebrating my dynamic and fruitful experiences.
